Resistive Soil Moisture Sensor: Digital and Analog Signal Output for Arduino
The probe uses analog resistance to detect the moisture content of the soil, making it a valuable plant helper to know if your plants are thirsty. It can also be used in automatic watering systems, gardens, greenhouses, and more.

Digital Value Output: This soil moisture detector outputs a low-level signal from the DO port when the detected humidity reaches the threshold value. It is compatible with Arduino/Raspberry Pi.
Analog Value Output: The AO port on the soil humidity sensor outputs an analog value (voltage), and you can acquire the real-time data via the AD port of your single-chip microcomputer (MCU).
Adjustable Threshold: Rotate the blue potentiometer clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or reduce the detection threshold, respectively. On-board power and signal indicators allow you to monitor the working status of the board.
Instruction: 1. Connect the "+" to power positive and "-" to negative. Ensure correct polarity, as reversing it may burn the chip. The LED power indicator at the "P" mark will light up if the module is operating normally. 2. Adjust the detection threshold by rotating the blue potentiometer. For example, if the DO outputs a low level when the moisture reaches 50%, clockwise rotation will increase the threshold, and the low level will only be output when the moisture exceeds the new threshold. 3. If the LED indicator marked "S" lights up, it means the testing threshold has been surpassed. Counterclockwise rotation to the end also surpasses the threshold. The module will not work properly if the detection threshold is invalid.
